Urban Simulations

Urban simulations is a 1 credit hour course that is intended to simulate a variety of legal, political, budgeting, planning, and other urban problems and procedures that cities face on a daily basis. Through an active learning process, students will be able to understand urban governance in more depth and apply the knowledge they received in graduate school to "real life" situations. In particular, the class may cover such topics as real estate development, use of public space, property rights, eminent domain, zoning, and budgeting.
