History of the Theatre III

This course traces the rise of Realism and Naturalism, "Modern" theater, Symbolism, Expressionism, Dada, Futurism, and Epic, to the beginnings of contemporary theater. The student will study the developments of the foundation of the modern Western theatre, from the revolt against Romanticism through the Theatre of the Absurd.
