Health Practice & Policy Issues
This is a three credit hour course on social work in healthcare. Focus is on the characteristics and competencies of practice, and the historic, current, and anticipated factors contributing to the shape and direction of healthcare social work. The course goal is to advance social work practice to meet the current and anticipated needs of patients, families, and provider institutions.
