Solid Modeling Applications

Development and application of solid models of components and assemblies in engineering design and analysis. Use of solid models in problems related to component design, stress analysis, fluid flow, heat transfer, machine dynamics, and assembly interference. Production of engineering drawings, visual representations, and data files for machining and rapid prototyping. Accuracy and validity considerations of solid models.
