Research Methods in Behavior Analysis

The goal of this course is to provide pre-service behavior analysts the knowledge and skills to evaluate intervention efficacy through direct observation and single-subject designs. Students are exposed to a scientific approach to designing, conducting, and critically evaluating applied research. Additionally, basic research, bridge research and the experimental analysis of behavior are addressed. This course will serve as an introduction to the more advanced research methods course that follows in the certification sequence.
