Social Studies Instruction in Preschool and the Primary Grades

Objectives, principles, trends, materials and current practices for teaching social studies and fostering social development in early childhood education. This course will focus on developmentally appropriate content and strategies for introducing young children to the study of history, geography, economics, and other social sciences.
