Explorations in Biology: Inquiry-Based Investigations of Urban Ecosystems

A weeklong introduction to the ecology of human-dominated ecosystems. Lectures and laboratories consider biodiversity, human impacts on ecosystems and vice versa, and ecological monitoring programs and their integration into school curricula. Intended for upper elementary, middle, and high school teachers. Held at the Woodlake Environmental Field Station, Peninsula, Ohio.
