Principles Of Animal Physiology

Basic concepts of comparative animal physiology will be developed from fundamental principles of chemistry, biology, and physics. The evolution of major physiological systems will be examined through a comparison of taxa ranging from protists through vertebrates. Students may not take both BIO 422 and BIO 424 for credit.
