Gender Boundaries and Sexuality in the Arab World
The course examines key issues related to gender and sexual categories in Arab societies in the Middle East and Africa. This course places an emphasis on the investigation of these issues and themes primarily through Arabic sources, cultural history, and Arab's perceptions of sexual identities.
