Applied Data Analysis

This course takes a practical approach to the fitting, assessment, and interpretation of statistical models. Specific topics include obtaining and transforming data, data visualization, the generalized linear model framework, and specific examples of frequently used generalized linear models (multiple regression, ANOVA, logistic regression, and Poisson regression). The approach focuses on specifying appropriate models, using software to obtain model fits and to assess the quality of models, interpreting models, and preparing statistical reports
