Hispanic Culture in the United States

A study of the history and culture of Hispanic groups in the United States, their political, social, and religious institutions, and their value systems. The course is designed to assist students in understanding the cultural contributions of Hispanics within the broader U.S. culture. Reading materials include literary and non-literary sources. This course has the option of fulfilling cross-cultural engagement core with additional course work and permission of the instructor
