Intervention Techniques in Therapeutic Recreation

Therapeutic recreation (TR) programs contain a theoretically sound and effective set of treatment protocols. It is important for practitioners to be able to identify client needs and select appropriate interventions to meet those needs. This course will provide students with clinical skills related to diverse treatment modalities and facilitation techniques through intentional observations of the programs delivered by master clinicians and hands-on experience of diverse treatment interventions
