Leadership in Recreation Programs

This course is designed to conduct an in depth investigation of basic leadership skills related to the delivery of recreation programs and related human services within a Christian worldview. An overview of the leadership theories, concepts, and strategies related to the delivery of human services will be provided. A leadership lab will be used to develop and practice team building skills, group facilitation, and leadership techniques, as well as problem solving skills that will be useful in leading recreation programs
