Readings challenge students to engage with musical aesthetics, performance, composition, theory and analysis, and history in light of developing trends in scholarship, and to draw upon the insights of Christian theology to inform critical thinking about music. The course contributes to an understanding of vocation in music and a developing commitment to responsible stewardship in the musical world.
