Mathematics Content and Teaching Methods for Middle Grades

This course examines best practices in the teaching and learning of mathematics for the middle grades. Relevant mathematics concepts for these grade levels will be explored. This course is generally taken during the junior year and is required for education majors seeking middle and/or high school licensure to teach mathematics
