This course examines the job market and graduate programs in environmental sciences. Topics include exploring environmental careers as part of a broader Christian vocation as well as career options and necessary qualifications. Students conduct personal evaluations, prepare a resume, and set career goals. This course also pairs students with environmental programs/organizations, primarily at Calvin University, where they apply the concepts, principles, and skills they are learning as part of the environmental science or environmental studies major (e.g., the Ecosystem Preserve, Plaster Creek Stewards, or Coastal Cleanup).
