Internship in Education and Disability Studies

An internship is required of students seeking the major in Special Education Studies. This course requires students to work approximately ten hours per week in a position related to schooling and/or the support of individuals who have identified disabilities. Taken as part of the Special Education Studies major (or optionally with the minor) the internship will provide students an opportunity to consolidate their study of disability and program supports provided to individuals with identified disabilities. Students will work with Education Department faculty and the Career Center to secure a suitable position
