Communication and Conflict Resolution

An introduction to the theory and practice of communication and conflict resolution. Students will investigate the dynamics of conflict, theories of communication relevant to conflict resolution, conflict resolution processes and strategies, and how to make an inevitable part of human existence productive rather than destructive. Students will learn to analyze, interpret, and evaluate conflict and how to resolve conflict through a theoretically informed understanding of human communication
