CHEM 105

Chemical Principles

A one-semester study of the basic principles of chemistry, this course is an alternative to the CHEM 103/CHEM 104 sequence for students who plan to major in science and have a strong background in chemistry and mathematics. This course covers all of general chemistry in a single semester by focusing on the phaseology, chemical structure, energetics, and kinetics of chemical reactions. Additional topics include acid/base chemistry, electrochemistry, and nuclear chemistry. The final exam for this course is equivalent to that for CHEM 104. Laboratory
