ACCT 307

Advanced Taxation

A study of Federal tax law and of tax cases as they apply to corporations, partnerships, estates, and trusts. This course will analyze and evaluate the Internal Revenue Code, the IRS Regulations, and appropriate case law as the basis for understanding the law, for utilizing the law in tax planning, and for ethically interpreting the law. Tax research will be emphasized
