Hotel and Lodging Operations

This course is designed to provide a required knowledge of hotel and lodging operations. Students will acquire a solid understanding of how a variety of lodging types, specially hotels, operate by detailed examination of the departments common to most lodging properties, including the front office, sales and marketing, housekeeping, maintenance, and others. Additionally, topics relevant to operations like green initiatives and revenue optimization will be discussed in this course.
