Senior Seminar in Mathematics for Teachers

A seminar course required as a culminating experience for mathematics majors who are seeking certification to teach at the elementary, middle or secondary levels. Students analyze problems from elementary, middle and high school mathematics from an advanced perspective and explicitly make connections between the concepts taught in elementary, middle and secondary and their more abstract analogues encountered in undergraduate mathematical courses. A grade of C or higher is required.
