ANTH 112

General Anthropology

This course explores the diversity of humanity both in the past and in the present. Anthropology provides a uniquely broad understanding of humankind by integrating the study of human evolution, ancient civilizations, languages, and cultures from around the world. Based on a wide range of case-studies, this course explores what it means to be human, and how it is differently experienced in societies and cultures around the world. Course meets Multicultural graduation requirement.
