Building Communication and Literacy Skills

This course develops skills in reading and writing. Reading skills developed include critical reasoning, the identification of main ideas, detail, writers purpose, and idea relationships. Students develop the ability to write a written summary and directed composition with mastery using proper mechanics. The decision to focus on reading or writing will be determined by individual student needs
