Human Factors in the Workplace

This course is designed as an overview and practicum in the study of organizational ergonomics. The major goal is to provide students with a broad understanding of the workers relationship with technology and the design of the workplace environment. The course involves contemporary human factors theory, concepts, principles, and research techniques. A hypermedia laboratory allows students the opportunity to apply ergonomic principles using computer simulations
