Childrens Literature
This course familiarizes students with a variety of classical and contemporary prose and poetry and its ability to enrich childrens lives by meeting their needs for beauty, fantasy, knowledge, and emotional support. Students draw on the power of story for making connections between learning and discovery. Writing activities for extending literature across the curriculum are included in each class session
