CRIM 325

Juvenile Delinquency

The causation, control, and prevention of delinquency and offenses of young adults are discussed. This course exposes students to the origins and development of the juvenile justice system from historical, legal and institutional perspectives. Youth gangs are also discussed in an effort to understand the distinction existing between the concepts of youth gangs and violent youth gangs
