Systems Analysis and Software Design

This course introduces students to the financial, technical, and strategic aspects of computer information systems analysis and design. Emphasis is on the relationship between computer information systems planning processes and overall business goals, policies, plans, management style, and the industry condition. Particular emphasis is placed on the discussion of the means of selecting large systems projects; assessing the installations current state; determining processing, staffing, software, hardware, and financing needs
