PHYS 324

Principles of Radio Astronomy

A study of astrophysically interesting phenomena utilizing the techniques of the science of radio astronomy; topics include galactic structure, radio galaxies, cosmic jets and black holes, interstellar molecules and instrumentation in radio astronomy, with a major emphasis in the methods of research in experimental astrophysics. Equates with ASTR 324 and SSE 324
