Preaching from the Old Testament

This course is an analysis of the structures and methods used to prepare biblical, “Big Idea,” messages from the Old Testament. It includes a study to ensure literary competence for interpreting and applying the literary genres in the Old Testament (e.g., narrative, poetry, law, and prophecy) and a study of the methods and principles for preaching creatively and redemptively.
