Understanding the City
This course will lay a foundation for understanding the sociocultural dynamics of life and ministry in an urban context by engaging the students with the city of Chicago and its various ethnic neighborhoods. Special attention will be given to the history and development of the city of Chicago, its neighborhoods, and the ethnic communities residing in its environs. Course offered every spring semester.
