Contemporary Issues in Science and Christian Thought

This course considers the Western intellectual inheritance that drives the development and definition of science in society. Students will gain familiarity with an array of contemporary issues in both science and worldview. They will increase their scientific literacy while developing critical facility in the reading and analysis of relevant publications. Students use the skills they have gained in quantitative reasoning, theology, and philosophy to carefully consider issues in science that have significance for those preparing for ministry. The course seeks to model integrative thinking processes.
