Human Development

Students will understand through this holistic study the cognitive, psychosocial, physical, and moral/spiritualdomains of the developing person in the span of life from conception through later life stages and death. This course describes the processes of human growth anddevelopment, gives an in-depth treatment of the characteristics and needs of the major life stages, and integrates biblical perspective throughout life span development, with a view toward practical application in the life of the Christian and in varied ministry settings. This course fulfills the General Studies social science elective requirement.
