Investigating and Reporting Across Media

This course will cover the principles and techniques of writing news stories across media, including print, online text, and video. Students will receive practice in interviewing, research, news writing, copy editing, and clear, accurate reporting. Students will learn the fundamentals and principles of journalism, particularly in regard to ethical and fair reporting and will apply those fundamentals to their reports in all formats.
