Fundamentals of Creative Writing

This course is designed to introduce students to four major forms of storytelling: poetry and lyric, fiction, creative nonfiction, and script writing. Students will be expected to create original works within each storytelling form. This course is part lecture and part workshop-based, requiring students to exercise audacity both in sharing their own works and in critiquing/praising the work of others.
