Hermeneutics/Bible Study Methods

This course examines the principles and practices of biblical interpretation, as well as the primary tools for biblical research. Students will become acquainted with the history of interpretation and a defense of the literal-historical-grammatical approach. Hermeneutical strategies will be used to interpret various literary genres, examine historical and literary contexts, analyze structural relationships, perform word studies, and develop principles for practical application.
