Theology and Preaching

This course provides an understanding of the theology of preaching. Students will formulate a philosophy of preaching that integrates theology, hermeneutics, and cultural perspectives and practice. Emphasis will be given to the exploration of the relationship between the divine and human dimensions of the preaching event. As part of this study, students will study the theological content of classic and contemporary sermons
