Professors are the best in their fields, generally approachable and willing to help. Security is pretty great, I feel safe walking on campus at all hours of the night.

You can study anything and get creative with your education. Its not a party school, but with New York city as our playground it is easy to have an active social life and find what ever activity it is that one is interested in.

I love the campus and the diversity of the students. Overall, professors are experts in their field who are extremely willing to help you in office hours, there are a variety of courses offered, and class sizes range from 15- 50 students.

There are ready and available health services at all times. Most of the undergraduate housing is near campus. Students get to pick and choose, on the most part, where they desire to live. Public safety does a great job of ensuring students are protected on campus, and around the Morningside area. There are escort services for students who need to travel late-night, and emergency calling systems are always running.

Everyone at the school truly cares for the students and their well being as well as their academic success. It has a demanding academic curriculum but it is focused on instilling students with its core values and exposing students to different subjects and their respective methods of thought.

Columbia University is a campus that provides each student with an environment that feels like home. I love the academic challenges the school has each student face. I love the location of the school on the Upper West Side since it’s a little bit more calm but you can still go downtown if you want more people/noise/activities. The dorms and housing options are amazing and all are relatively close to campus. I just wish there was more of a connection between the student body as a whole maybe at athletics or some event.

Being accepted to Columbia was the best thing that ever happened to me. Schedule flexibility was main attribute, closely followed by life in New York City! Every student is palpably ambitious to change the world but still incredibly engaging. The professors are willing to go above and beyond to help you and produce amazing resources.

Attending Columbia was the best decision I've ever made. The strongest aspects of the school are academia, research, and professors. Due to the COVID-19, everyone had to move the classes to online platforms which led to the loss of the major components of student life. While I love the university deeply if classes will continue holding remotely, I will have to take an academic break.
