Environmental Planning II

An advanced course designed for students with knowledge of ecological processes or relevant environmental fields. The course features regional ecological infrastructure and landscape scale. Typical topics include watershed management, land-use change and ecological impacts, and regional open space and habitat preservation. The course provides an opportunity to apply planning processes and techniques such as suitability analysis, GIS mapping, risk assessment, or environmental impact assessment through a project exercise.
