NUR 830
PMHNP Focus IV Clinical: Group Therapy
This course focuses on primary assessment and diagnostic skills needed to determine appropriate therapeutic interventions in adults or children exhibiting mental illness. Special focus is on client group therapy and education as interventions to improve outcomes. HOUR REQUIREMENTS: 180 hours over an average of 12-15 weeks. NOTE: Students must be successful in companion course NUR 829 in order to receive a passing grade in this course (NUR 830).
