Medical Surgical Nursing III/Clinical

This course focuses on the use of the Nursing Process in the care of adults with life threatening health problems in a variety of settings. Emphasis is on preventative, secondary and quaternary strategies that augment functioning in clients with multisystem stressors, Emphasis is directed toward the application of the nursing process in this population, Collaborative problems will be considered as part of the role of the professional nurse in interdisciplinary collaboration in client care.
