Choral Conducting

Open only to music education majors. An in-depth study of the preparation and implementation of choral rehearsals through the fundamentals of conducting. Practice and score reading and analysis, personal techniques, diction, and the development of appropriate and artistic conducting gestures for leading choral ensembles. Course participants will serve as a lab choir.
