Community-Based Participatory Research and Health

Introduces general theories, principles, and strategies of Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) including strengths and limitations of CBPR, and the practical and ethical issues involved when collaborating with communities, the quantitative and qualitative methods used in CBPR. As part of this capstone course, students will participate in service learning and structure a proposal for a CBPR project.
