HCA 498

Independent Study in Health Care Management

Prior to enrollment, proposals must be submitted to and approved by a sponsoring member of the Management Department faculty. Approval is also required from the Department Chair or Health Care coordinator. The independent study will examine a significant problem in some phase of health care management, with the topic selected from the candidate's area of interest. Deliverables will vary but will include a final written report, suitable for presentation at a regional meeting/conference and/or publication in a professional journal. Other deliverables may include weekly update reports, data collection and analysis, presentations, etc. and will be defined during the application and approval process.

Units: 1.0-4.0(3.0)
