Seminar In Corporate Finance

An extensive reading of the current literature in the field of corporate finance. The course concentrates on capital structure and dividend policy, but also investigates selected topics in corporate finance such as mergers and acquisitions. Recent developments in these fields are emphasized, including agency theory, the impact of asymmetric information and signaling, and the role of contingent claims analysis. Required for finance majors in the D.B.A. program.
