Concurrent enrollment in EST 371. Introduction to science instruction and assessment in upper elementary, middle, and junior high school settings; provides background and principles of science education, including instructional planning, methods and materials, integration of technology, nature of current research in science education and its role in guiding science instruction and assessment, best practices in science education and a philosophy for teaching science.
