Structural Wood Design

Vertical dead and live loads due to gravity, roof, and floor. Lateral design loads due to wind and seismic. Properties and grades of sawn lumber and glulam members, modification factors of allowable stresses; analysis and design of axially loaded members, combined axial and bending effects.
