Multivariate Statistical Methods

Advanced methods course on multivariate statistical methods used in analyzing research in human communication. Focuses primarily on understanding these methods and statistics rather than on their actual performance and calculation. Students should be able to critically read and analyze published research in communication, including the methodological and statistical sections of these articles, as well as to use computer programs to apply multivariate statistical tests, including factor analysis, multiple regression, MANOVA models, and structural equation modeling.
