Families & Early Childhood

This course is designed to enhance a student's understanding of the dynamics of families with young children, including the way the family facilitates attachment and processes relational anxiety. This course will also help the student to be aware of anxiety and depression within the family and how that impacts family dynamics. Finally the course will examine the leading therapeutic interventions that will produce change in both the functioning of the family and the mental health status of the young child.
