BUS 604

Advanced Business Analytics 1

This course focuses primarily on predictive analytics and introduces students to advanced Business Analytics methods and tools. Students learn about the limitations of the basic business analytic tools and business situations where the use of advanced analytical methods is warranted. Students are expected to use SAS Enterprise Miner, SAS Enterprise Guide, and Base SAS to analyze real-world data and make strategic recommendations for managerial actions. Students are also expected to understand the theory underlying the models that are used in this course so that they can design unique applications to solve complex business problems.
